Optimo Safety gratings Type O5™ Stiletto heel proof material characterised by 5mm dia punched raised and depressed holes, in 2mm/3mm thick material forming drainage holes and are low transparent gratings with excellent multi directional slip resistance. Applied as safety flooring against fallen objects as well as drainage, i.e. at highway bridges, escape routes, stiletto heel proof requirement areas, public applications, museums etc.

O5 Grating benefits from 5mm dia raised/depressed holes providing a stiletto proof, non-slip surface (PTV79); ideal for public & institutional type buildings. Grating's are available with contrasting M nosing's on door or landing thresholds and can be supplied complete with tactile corduroy panels where required, for partially sighted and public considerations.

Manufactured in various combinations in relation to: - width, height, length and profile.
Supplied combined together as welded modules for easy fitting or individually to sub-contractors if preferred.
Type O5, with its heel proof properties, is used in public and institutional areas; predominantly as main access and fire escape routes. In industrial areas, the small 5mm dia holes ensure no falling objects pass through injuring people below such as motorway gantries.
The O5 system can be used in conjunction with our corduroy tactile panels where partially sighted and public considerations are required.
